Some vacation destinations will offer you scenery; others will offer you activity. The many islands of Hawaii Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island can give you all of the above. Each island is unique, and each offers something for you.

Before embarking on a trip to Hawaii, you must first decide what island will be your primary destination. Your vacation can be spent entirely on one island, or you can spend a few days on each. The lodging choices available for you to choose from are as plentiful as the islands themselves, and these accommodations can range from traditional hotels and resorts to bed and breakfasts or inns. All of these options are great places to stay. You need only determine if you are looking for an amenity-filled room at a hotel or a cozy nook at a bed and breakfast inn.

The islands of Hawaii also offer an exhausting list of things to do or see. Whether you are looking to do some major trekking to Hawaii’s natural wonders, or if you want to spend some quality time resting on the beach, it is your choice. The islands of Hawaii offer valleys, mountains, volcanoes, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Regardless of your interest, allot time for what matters most to you!

For beach lovers, the north shore of Oahu offers some of Hawaii’s nicest beaches. It also boasts a world-renowned surf spot called the Pipeline, which is popular with both surfers and tourists. The other beaches and landmarks along Oahu’s north shore are outstanding as well.

For many travelers, it is the scenic beauty of natural Hawaii that is the real attraction. By staying away from the big cities and venturing into the islands’ flora and fauna, you can discover some of Hawaii’s real gems. From the Koolau Mountain Range to Waipi’o Valley, there are enough scenic drives and gorgeous views to please the most dedicated nature fans. By taking the road a little less traveled, you can find some of the best views in the world.

No trip to the Big Island of Hawaii is complete without a visit to the active Kilauea Volcano. The volcano itself is surrounded by hardened black lava fields, and tourists flock to the volcano for this very reason. The closer you can get to the volcano, the more likely you are to see one of its famed lava flows. There is little that can compare to this breathtaking sight.

After all the traveling and sightseeing, it is always nice to kick back, relax, and just enjoy your tropical Hawaiian Vacation. Whether it’s in the comfort of your hotel room or in your inviting bed and breakfast inn, it doesn’t really matter. All that matters is that you are in Hawaii, a place of many wonders.

You will find no other place on Earth quite like Hawaii. Make sure you do a bit of research and plan your trip ahead of time. That way, you can partake of the activities you want and stay away from those that you don’t. You also will be able to see all of the landmarks that are high on your list. The more time you spend planning, the more time you will have to just have fun. And that is really all you have to do!
