If you are visiting Paris for the first time, something you may want to think about is staying in hostels in Paris that are available there. There are various qualities of hostels and the one chosen will be decided by the budget available. Nonetheless, these hostels will all provide a unique and interesting experience for those who do choose to make use of them.

Here are some of Paris’ hostels:

1. The Hostel Richard: This hostel is located just in the center of the 11th district by the Place de la Republique. The Hostel Richard offers you a warm welcome to their Paris hostel. The Hostel consists of 35 Paris economy hotel rooms. Because of the closeness of hostel Richards to the large Paris metro stations, it is a place of convenience for most and it’s not a bad Paris hotel. As with any hostel, I would say it would be more suggested for students or long term travelers than business travelers or visitors looking for high end accommodations.

2. The Aloha hostel is close to the metro station and so it is easily a starting point for your site seeing tours. If you like the nightlife, this is probably not the best choice of a hostel since they have a strict lockout policy at midnight each night. They offer as part of the cost of the stay free Wi-Fi, breakfast, and daytime storage of your luggage. There’s a guest kitchen for those who choose to cook for themselves also available here.

3. The St. Christopher Hostel: It has 300 beds and they provide visitors with Wi-Fi free of charge. You’ll also find that they offer free breakfast and free daytime storage of your luggage. Lockers are available for those who have their own locks with them. There is a bar with music and is the ideal spot for the party lover. There are all female facilities available but they will not accommodate anyone under the age of 18 years. The metro is only a short distance from this one.

4. Des Gobelins: This is another Paris hostel that has a generous amount of modern facilities. It was specifically constructed with youth in mind and has been rated as a top 10 hostel by Guardian magazine. It is well known for being lively and it also offers free Wi-Fi internet, free linens, free maps and storage facilities. Breakfast is also provided free of charge and lockout time is from midnight to early morning. Therefore it is not suitable for those who desire the nightlife. Prices here are very reasonable and can fit well within most people’s budgets.

5. Paris Perfect Hostel: This hostel is the perfect place from which to experience the alluring part of Paris because of its exotic location. Nearby sites of the hostel include Moulin Rouge, the Opera and Sacre Coeur.

She also recommends that if you’re going to stay in Paris hostels you may also want to do a fast search for the ongoing hotel prices as sometimes you can find special hotel rates for the price of a hostel.
