You can take a raft upriver to view it from the bottom or take and expedition to see if from an alterative view. There is the Rio Carnival in Brazil which is known as one the biggest, brightest carnivals in the world.
This is held in the early February, but you must book your flights soon else you may not get one. When you are in Rio, keep some time aside for visiting Corcovado Mountain, and enjoy the Sugar Loa Mountain Day Tour. This excursion will take you to the exciting rain forest, and you can enjoy viewing attractions like Christ the Redeemer statue, located on the mountain.
If you visit Chile you can trek to an ancient wonder of the world the Machu Picchu which is an Inca Ruin. The Incas were discovered in the 1900s but now is visited by tourists worldwide. Don?t forget your camera! South America is picturesque, whether it?s the landscape or the people.
