If you are planning a trip to the Gold Coast region of Australia then make sure you pencil in a few days to fit in some of the worlds best theme parks. Gold Coast theme parks will give you so many different experiences and there is something that everyone can enjoy. With so many choices available you may find it difficult deciding where to start.

Warner Brothers Movie World will keep you excited with exhilarating rides like the Superman Escape where you will experience what it feels like to travel 100km/h in just two seconds, just like Superman. For a completely different experience make sure that you try the DreamWorks Shrek 4D Adventure which will take you straight into Ogre land and let you experience all the fun effects in 4D. If you are still looking for more thrills after that then there is always the other thrill rides such as Wild West Falls and Lethal Weapon.

Next on the list of things to do is Sea World, also on the Gold Coast. If you love the outdoors and wildlife then this is the place for you as you will get to get up close and personal with all kinds of creatures big and small. The thrilling Shark Bay will allow you to get closer than ever to some of the biggest and baddest sharks and Polar Bear Shores and the Water ski Wipeout show will give you and the family some laughs and exciting moments.

For the days when the sun is shining and you need something to keep you cool then Wet n Wild Water World is the place for you to visit. For some high speed entertainment you can try the Whirlpool where you will find yourself swirling around amongst the rapids. For a roller coaster experience with some water thrown into the mix try the worlds first wet roller coaster at Wet n Wild Water World. Here you will fall 30 meters whilst spinning on a giant surfboard and racing through water sprays. Also on offer at this park is the Giant Wave Pool and Calypso Beach for the kids.

Another option for the hot days is WhiteWater World, named to be the most advanced water park around and even features four of the worlds best water slides.

If you have still not had you fill of fun then another must see is Dreamworld. One of the largest parks, this park features over 30 hectares of fun filled adventure with rides, attractions, shows and even animal adventures where you will be able to meet some of Australia’s local wildlife like koalas and kangaroos and you will even get to visit Tiger Island which is just as amazing as it sounds!

If you think that you are going to visit all of the above mentioned parks then the Fun Pass might save you and your family some money. This card will give each person a chance to visit five parks over five days for one flat rate.

If you are hanging around for a longer period of time then you may want to get your hands on the Super Pass. This will give you unlimited entry to any of the parks for a period of two weeks. That means that you will be able to visit any of the parks as many times as you wish over those fourteen days.
