Taking one’s ease at an Ixtapa private resort may be the best way of all to enjoy a vacation in the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo area of Mexico, it must be said. This region is often referred to as the Mexican Riviera, and it’s easy to see why. That’s because it sits on a shoreline that abuts the sunny Pacific and that benefits from, generally, a year-round sunny and warm atmosphere. It can be very alluring, then, to stay there, quite honestly.
Anybody who’s ever been to the region known as the Mexican Riviera knows all about the region, honestly. In Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo there are over 5000 hotel rooms in which one can stay but there are also far more exclusive private villas where one can really enjoy one’s self. Private chefs, private swimming pools and generally-peaceful and secluded days are the norm in one of these villas or resorts.
The best of the private resorts and villas are usually located within gated communities that are completely secure, for what it’s worth. It’s easy to imagine sitting on a veranda with the blue Pacific in front and beautiful hillside vistas in the rear. As well, many of these private resorts also have an arrangement with nearby luxury hotel restaurants and spas as a part of their package.
Those who decide to go with a private resort can expect a number of high-line amenities that include even a private boat with a captain that can be used to go on a leisurely fishing expedition. It’s hard to see any sort of downside, honestly, when it comes to engaging in in one of these private resort vacations, it has to be said.
As to whether or not one of these particular vacations makes fiscal sense, it can often be the case that the cost of a private villa in a resort is comparable to a stay at one of the area hotels. This also invariably comes as a surprise to many who think that such villas might be out of their reach. In fact, this isn’t so — when the individual costs of everybody staying at the hotel or the villa are added together and compared.
Generally speaking, almost all of the best private resorts in the area are in the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo corridor, with many close to town and the beaches and the activities that the region is most famous for. Now, given that these resorts are really comparable in cost to a stay at a local luxury hotel, giving some consideration to making use of one is probably highly recommended.
Enjoying a vacation in an Ixtapa private resort, then, may just be the way to go when it comes to the vacation in this beautiful region of Pacific coastal Mexico.. This is especially so when one considers that on a comparison basis one of these resorts may be as affordable as staying in a local hotel, depending on how many people are sharing the costs.
