If you wish to enjoy a carnival, then come to Basel. The carnival is usually organized between February and March. It is three days of masked street parties, fun, and fancy costumes.

If you visit Geneva or Zurich then take a cruise down their lakes; you will be able to see the cities architecture whilst soaking in the atmosphere. You can also take the paddle steamers (old style boats) on these lakes.
