San Diego is a small town in feeling with a big appetite. You can have a great vacation this holiday season by booking San Diego hotel rooms and stay in budget for a great experience this season full of wonderful memories. All roads lead to this vibrant city and it is full of activity for the holiday season.

There are many places in San Diego to choose where to stay. Each location has something for everyone and is vibrant with lots to do. And if you want to visit another part of San Diego, that is easy to do to. From any location you can jump on the local trolley and ride around or take a bus or taxi. You can even rent a car and find your own destinations as it is easy to travel in San Diego.

If a beach experience is what you are craving there are several options. You could stay on Coronado and soak up the beaches there and maybe even surf with Santa. Or you could go to Shelter Island or Point Loma for an ocean experience. You could even go a little north to beautiful La Jolla with their beautiful views and rocky beaches.

They have Holidays on the Prado which has countries around the world showing how they celebrate Christmas. It’s a fun experience to go down to the gas lamp district. There is always something musically going on for any musical taste.

If you want to have a great experience with your children consider driving up about 45 minutes to Carlsbad to take in Legoland and the Aquarium. They are connected and for one ticket you can spend a day exploring the world of Lego. It is fun with rides and experiences for all ages. If you don’t want to drive you can always take the train up the coast easily.

A great experience as well is Old Town. It is decorated for the holidays with street of fair type markets. You can see the historic Old Town and see the roots of how San Diego started. Watch taffy being made and get a margarita as big as your head. There is something for everyone at Old Town.
