Holidays to Alcudia are ideal for those who want a more relaxing holiday away from the particularly crowded and lively resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf. In spite of generally being a little bit quieter, there is still plenty to do in Alcudia and is particularly suitable for family holidays. It is safe, charming and has one of the nicest beaches in the island.

Located on the island of Majorca, Alcudia is not difficult to get too, being only ninety minutes away from the airport. Activities to take part in there include a number of water sports activities such as scuba diving and snorkelling, banana boat riding and various other things for the more adventurous amongst you.

If you prefer to experience some of the local culture, then Alcudia is also a great resort to go to. Originally built by an old fishing village, the old town of Alcudia is an ancient Roman town about three kilometres from the resort itself. Definitely worth a visit, it is a particularly charming place.

Nearby there is also a traditional market which is held weekly and if you want to see a piece of history, you can visit the old town of Alcudia which is approximately three kilometres away from the centre of the resort. It is a particularly picturesque old Roman village and definitely worth seeing.

With great weather most of the year round, anytime except the winter itself is a great time to visit Alcudia. You can also save a bit of cash if you go off season and you may be able to get a decent last minute deal. There is certainly plenty on offer.
