Happy Birthday, With A Twist

For most people, celebrating a birthday is a something that they look forward to. While you may not countdown the number of days until your birthday starting six months before it rolls around, chances are you get at least a bit giddy the week of. That said, regardless of if you make a big deal out of your birthday celebration or not, chances are you enjoy spending your special day with the people that matter to you most. For some, that is a small group of friends and family, and for others it is everybody and anybody that wants to come out and share a drink with you for your birthday. Many people try and go out to a big lavish dinner where everybody can come and enjoy a nice meal in the spirit of a birthday. Others try and make it a bit more intimate, inviting friends and family over to their apartment or home to enjoy a night of socializing and drinking in a familiar setting. While both of these can lead to a fun evening, neither of them are unique enough to really be a memorable night for most people.

If you are interested in throwing a party that all your friends and family will remember, think outside the box and throw a party during the daytime. While most people think of the night as the best time to celebrate a birthday, daytime parties ensure that everybody in attendance is refreshed from a full night’s sleep, while people often arrive at a party at night exhausted from a full say of work or walking around. Regardless, throwing your next birthday party outdoors, during the day, is a great way to make sure that your guests are pleasantly surprised by the event.

There are a couple of ways to go about organizing a daytime birthday party.

First, you might consider throwing your party in a public outdoor space, such as a park. This will allow you to invite as many people as you want, as you will not have to worry about people having enough space to enjoy themselves. Furthermore, this setting is completely free of charge, and all you have to do to reserve it is show up early on in the day and lay down a few blankets and chairs so that people can easily identify that you are having a party in that particular plot of land. However, in many parks, you may not be allowed to serve or consume alcoholic beverages, something that most adults enjoy doing when they are at a birthday party.

As far as food, you have options as well. You might choose to cater your event, having an outside group come in with already prepared food and be in charge of setting up and cleaning up after the reunion comes to a close, or you can have everybody bring a favorite type of food or dish and put them all out for an easy to set up and easy to clean up buffet for everybody to pick from and enjoy.

Therefore, the best way to organize and throw a successful daytime birthday party is to reserve a private outdoor space for you and your friends to enjoy. You can eat and drink whatever you want, and everybody will be able to enjoy one another and socialize to their hearts’ content.

Moreover, outdoor instant shelters may prove helpful on even the sunniest of days. With a family reunion, you are likely to have some relatives attend who are particularly old and have difficulty absorbing a full day in the sun. As a result, having an outdoor instant shelter set up at your family reunion’s picnic will provide people who need it a break from the sun and they can enjoy the day’s festivities from a comfortable seat in the shade.

When all is said and done, a family reunion should be a joyous event that everybody looks forward to each and every year. With outdoor instant shelters, you can put your fears to bed and enjoy what is meant to be a fun, happy event, no mater what mood Mother Nature is in.
