Guided Tours In Cuba: Tour Of The West.

This is one of a series of articles dedicated to promote escorted Cuba tours. The idea is to let you realize how convenient and cost effective is to know the island through an expert tour guide.

DAY 1: At arrival to Jose Marti International airport in Havana you will be assisted by your tour guide who will transfer you to the Old Town (Habana Vieja) where you are going to stay. Accommodation is optional. You can choose from a variety of hotels. You will be staying in Havana for the first 2 nights on bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 2: At around 9:00 AM the same tour guide will collect you from the lobby of you hotel to start a walking tour around the old town area with a visit to the Meuseum of The City. Lunch will be arranged at Cafe Taberna restaurant. In the afternoon you will continue with a driving tour (in old American cars from the 50′s) of the modern part of Havana. In the Evening attendance to Canon Blast Ceremony at La Cabaa Fortress.

DAY 3: Early in the morning you will be transferred to Las Terrazas complex and you will be staying at La Moka hotel for the next 3 nights on bed and breakfast basis. Your first afternoon in this resort will be at leisure so you can explore the magnificent nature surrounding the complex.

DAY 4 : Full day tour around Las Terrazas community visiting the coffee plantations of Buenas Vista with lunch included, terminating back at your hotel.

DAY 5: Full day excursion to Cayo Levisa, where you will spend all day at leisure enjoying the remote white sandy beach (lunch included).

DAY 6: After breakfast, depart to the spectacular Vinales valley and book into the Hotel Los Jazmines or La Ermita for the next two nights, both with swimming pools and stunning views over the valley. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 7: Half day visit to the Viales valley including visits to a cave, tobacco plantations, underground rivers and so much more. The Lunch will be at a local restaurant called The Mural of Prehistory.

DAY 8: This is the last day of the tour and after breakfast you will be transfer to either the airport in Havana to take your international flight or to your next destination in Cuba. This transfer is also included in the package. As you can realize this guided tour last only one week, it is not packet with activities so you will be able to appreciate Cuba without having to rush from one place to the next.
