First on the list of European countries with the best beaches is the beautiful country of Spain. Spain is a popular tourist spot during the summer for families and singles alike, and for good reason. Spain features many, many white-sandy beaches and a nightlife that is second to none. Whether you’re looking for family fun, dining, shopping or a singles package where you’re sure to meet someone special, Spain is definitely the place to go.
Next up on the list are the gorgeous beaches of Portugal and all this historic country has to offer. Portugal is not far from Spain and offers a number of beaches and seaside activities in places like Algarve, which has become a very hot tourist spot and the Azores which includes nine separate islands, each with miles of stunning beaches and plenty to do for the whole family.
As you make your way across Europe this summer, be sure to stop in for some beachfront fun in the countries of Cyprus and Greece. In Cyprus, specifically the town of Kyrenia, you’ll be treated to magnificent views as you sit on the beach enjoying your favorite summer cocktail, and in Greece you can make your way to one of hundreds of majestic beaches on the Mediterranean coast. Both Cyprus and Greece offer plenty to do by day and a non-stop nightlife, perfect for the single traveler.
No list of European countries offering the best beaches would be complete without mentioning the country of Turkey. When most people think of Turkey, the last thing that probably comes to mind are beaches, but surprisingly, Turkey offers many beaches and a number of beach resorts offering a whole host of activities and amenities. Turkey is rich in history, has a fabulous nightlife and is a perfect place for families and singles alike. If you’re traveling to Europe this year, be sure head to Turkey for part of your trip.
