If you consider the innumerable things one can do in Cape Town as a tourist – especially for those visitors on a short stopover – then a Cape Town day trip is the perfect treat. You can take a walk through the historical city or hike up the ancient mountain. There are tour operators that can cater for all your requirements even if it’s to go mountain biking through the Winelands or a quick visit to the beautiful beaches.

If you like hiking then there are a number of trails that range from easy, intermediate and advanced to get to the top; a bit slower than the cable car but you get to see the same astounding view once you reach the summit.

Even with limited time visitors can easily take in so many of the sights and sounds of Cape Town.
