Accomodation In Hamburg

If you’re in the city and looking for a budget hotel Hamburg has something special for you, namely the Hotel Pacific, which is an answer to every traveller’s search for a budget accommodation that extends all the benefits of an opulent class of hotel. This hotel is owned and administered by a German family. Though it is small in size, it’s surely big in terms of service. The owners of the Hotel Pacific aspire to meet all the expectations and requirements of their guests with a welcoming atmosphere that is so cozy and homely, that you may not just feel like leaving the hotel.

The look of the hotel is pristinely traditional, and with its classic tapestry, antique lamps and wooden furnishing, it creates an ambience starkly different from a regular impersonal hotel. The dcor of the dining area and the lobby includes vintage furnishing, pastel-colored walls and carpeted floors. The hotel does not appear at all pretentious, and neither does it boast of the latest high-tech facilities.

Instead, you will be greeted by warm smiles and a personal touch. I personally enjoyed chatting with the owners as they helped me find my way around, answering my enquiries and clearing my doubts. They could not have been more helpful and welcoming, with a warm disposition to make me feel comfortable during my stay.

The coziness and simplicity asset possessed by this hotel can be rarely seen in any of the A-class hotels. The hotel’s staff and its owner help you in reserving musical tickets, harbour tours and excursions to the outskirts – Hegoland or Atles Land. If you prefer going for a ride across the city you can rent bicycles directly from the hotel.

Another excellent feature of the hotel is its location. Hamburg is an excellent city to explore by foot, with attractions and interesting sites within walking distance from one another. The Hotel Pacific Hamburg is situated along Neuer Pferdemarkt, a prime location close to the exhibition centre, docking harbor and fish market.

No wonder then, that within 10 minutes, you will be right in the heart of the city, where all the action takes place. A two-minute walk away is the metro station that brings you directly to other neighborhoods in the city as well as the train station.

Rooms are standard, equipped with attached bathroom, cable TV and telephone. WiFi connection is only available in the lobby, but cushy sofas will make you feel comfortable enough to lounge around and work on your laptop.

The rooms are very reasonable in this budget Hamburg accommodation, with the cost of a single room starting from 37 euros, and a double room costing 82 euros. The stay is free for children below the age of 6, and the price includes a sumptuous breakfast buffet, which includes locally sourced ham, sausages and cheese.

After a day of sightseeing, you can retreat to the hotel lounge bar and enjoy a glass of wine while relaxing to some classical music in the background. The drink list is affordable, with a wide selection of international liquor and non-alcoholic beverages.

If you are using your own car in the city, you can park it in the hotel’s private underground car park. You can always catch a bus from the bus station that is positioned at few step’s distance from the Hotel Pacific Hamburg.
